THE UNDER REPORTED EPIDEMIC OF VETERAN SUICIDE
In the shadow of national attention, a dire reality persists: the epidemic of veteran suicides remains vastly underreported and insufficiently addressed. As brave men and women return from service, they often face insurmountable challenges in readjusting to civilian life, grappling with trauma, and navigating inadequate mental health support systems. It’s imperative to confront this issue head-on, to honor their sacrifices not just in words, but in actions that prioritize their well-being and provide the support they deserve.
